The reasons that made Ray-Ban the leading brand of sunglasses, are varied, like

In 1923,an Air Force Lieutenant of American met with the trouble brought
by strong sunlight when driving a small plane across the Atlantic. After going
back to base, he suffered from nausea, headache, and dizziness. Therefore, in
1930, Bausch & Lomb developed the new type of sunglasses-Ray Ban
sunglasses, which have the good performance in absorbing more sunlight,
producing less heat and keeping clear vision. Besides the excellent performance
in protecting the eyes, the designer pay
specially attention in their appearance in order to show the valiant and ragged
style of military men. During World War II, the American pilots, who worn a
leather jacket and a pair of unique sunglasses, made a very bold and chic
impression on other countries' people. It was the Ray Ban sunglasses that they
have worn. Today, many men who pursue personality are still proud of wearing a
